Cathy Jean Robertson decided it was time to create better options for our kids. "Our society is hooked on shock value humor and sexual content," says Cathy. "It's time to start celebrating the innocence of childhood when it comes to our children. Today's kids are exposed to so much information at the wrong age."

As a result, she created a series of integrity based coloring books designed just for kids. "I've always been a huge fan of original animated Walt Disney feature films. Movies like 'The Sword and the Stone', 'The Fox and the Hound' and the 'Aristocats'; the humor was so classic and so innocent...it's still charms today."

These activity books focus on what's right and beautiful in the world, with a healthy dose of the old time Disney inspired innocence. What won't you find in an Integrity Coloring Book? Themes based on shopping, princesses or ball gowns. "There's a whole lot more to being a girl than what you can find down at the mall!"

As an Artist it's important to Cathy that she foster a love of art in the next generation. Children are easily overwhelmed with the crazy intricate coloring books that are on the market today. "I wanted to create something truly colorable for a child. I'm not talking pre-schooler's here, but rather grade school kids in the 7-13 year old range."

Most children start out with crayons. I don't know the last time you tried to color with a crayon, but they are not exactly a precision coloring tool. These are coloring pages that can actually be colored with a crayon without the added frustration of tiny spaces and too thin lines.

"My goal is to develop confidence in kids," says Cathy. Hence, her coloring books are made for kids from the inside out with an emphasis on quality. White single sided pages allow for less bleed through with markers while remaining truly crayon and child friendly.

Cathy finds inspiration for her work from the animals and the natural world, especially horses. She has managed to slip a horse or two in nearly every one of her coloring books so far, even her ocean themed book. "I'm excited to share my love of art and Nature with kids. I want to remind them that they are part of something much bigger, something that doesn't have anything to do with tv, video games or the concrete jungle!"
