Diane Duaner

I have written and published several books : Historical novels, detective stories, pastoral and philosophical novels. Let me share with you what they express :

- My first book, very original in its form and theme, is called "Les mystères de la Dame de Coeur", it is dedicated to the Queen of France Marie Leczynska, Louis XV's wife.

-The second historical novel "L'Astre noir de Versailles" is dedicated to another Queen of France, Sun-King's wife. In a meticulous quest, It tells some incredible secrets which the two heroes try to put in light. The reader can, step by step, learn a lot about history, sometimes far from official form !

-The detective story "Le dernier wiski de Plombières" takes place in 1930 in the smart atmosphere of thermal station Plombières-les-Bains. The two crimes are envelopped with mystery.

-My other detective story "Les âmes perdues de Trouville" takes place in the sea-side.

-Different is the historical book "Il n'est pas de plus grand amour" which I dedicated to the polish priest Maximilian Kolbe, dead in Auschwitz camp, after having taken the place of another prisoner.

- I wrote also a philosophical book "L'âge de la déraison", which tells stories of six women disappointed by life but still full of hope. A man joins them and gives his confidences. The book is a meditation about the sense of life.

All these books receive literary distinctions.
