W. D. Hudson

W. D. (William Drue) Hudson got his middle name from his grandmother who was named Druscilla. Born in Chattanooga, Tennessee in 1947 he moved to Huntsville, Alabama at the age of five where he lived until he attended the University of Alabama obtaining a degree in Accounting in 1967 and a JD degree in 1970. He is still a big Alabama fan. A practicing small town attorney in Gadsden, Alabama for 42 years, Hudson has always been a voracious reader. Before the days of ebooks, he was known for having a paperback in his back pocket, even when in court, and reading at every opportunity. Hudson lives on the banks of the Coosa River with his wife Cynthia and his cat "Puddy-Tat". They have four children and six grandchildren with a seventh on the way. He has written his first book at the age of 66 and is busily working on his second.
