Wyatt Underwood

Wyatt Underwood was born in New Mexico and spent his childhood in Brasil then returned to New Mexico for his teens and college. Sometimes it seems he has been trying to learn the language all his life, but what a great game! He writes poems about the world he loves and has loved: the desert, the mountains, the forest, the beach, and sometimes the city - oh, and about women. He writes in a tradition he thinks of as Southwestern although it has roots in classical poetry as well.
