Joseph Michael Sommers

Joseph Michael Sommers (Ph.D, University of Kansas) is a Professor of English at Central Michigan University where he teaches courses in children's and young adult literature, popular culture, comics, and critical theory. As such, he has published extensively on topics such as children's literature, comics, movies, video games, and, of course, the work of Neil Gaiman. He’s the editor of Children’s Literature Association Quarterly and a mid-tier chaos goblin.
