Kodi Roberts

When she was younger, Kodi Roberts wanted to be a professional singer. Instead, she became a Disk Jockey on the radio and played the music instead of making it. She has always been a creative person and writing was a passion from a very young age. Being in the radio industry, has allowed her to explore the production aspect of commercial advertising and she owns her own voice over Production Company and is a voice over artist nationally and internationally. Roberts was born in Houston , TX , but moved to a small town just outside of Houston with her parents when she was ten years old. That small town with dirt roads, the place she found to be such a boring place to grow up, is where she met her first love and her first broken heart. Her feelings about loves lost became an important inspiration for her latest work, TAKEN. This book conveys the innocence lost of a hopeless romantic simply by falling in love. Her book shows similarity to many experiences in love that of our own. Kodi Roberts remembers entering a reading contest at a young age. For every ten books read, they would give you your own personal pan pizza. Once the motivation of Pizza wore off the passion for reading set in and then writing followed suit. Growing up in the country in a homeschooled family Roberts found therapy in writing no matter the issue. Later in life, divorced and she makes her home in that same small town that was no fun to grow up in but the perfect place to raise her little boy. Roberts hopes to continue writing for the rest of her life.
