Greg Jenkins

Dr. Thaddeus H. Grey, Ph.D. — also known by the nom de plume Dr. Greg Jenkins — brings more than three decades of experience in the medical and forensic fields, having served as a medical examiner for multiple states before his retirement. A lifelong folklorist and collector of urban legends, Grey has authored numerous works exploring the strange, the supernatural, and the culturally mysterious, including the acclaimed Florida’s Ghostly Legends and Haunted Folklore series (Volumes I–III), Chronicles of the Strange and Uncanny in Florida, and Haunted Inns, Pubs & Eateries of St. Augustine.

His diverse body of work also includes The Theban Oracle: Discover the Magic of the Ancient Alphabet That Changes Lives (Red Wheel/Wieser), Medieval Cooking in Today’s Kitchen (Schiffer Publishing), and Banished: A Comprehensive Look into the Mind and Soul of the Sex Offender (Brown/Universal Publishing), reflecting a unique range of interests spanning folklore, occult traditions, history, psychology, and criminal behavior.

Grey is also the creator of The Muzac Man, an eight-book horror and crime series steeped in Lovecraftian atmosphere and occult intrigue. The series follows a mysterious and reclusive security guard implicated in a succession of bizarre and ritualistic crimes, blending cosmic horror, psychological suspense, and noir-inspired storytelling. Greg resides in West Virginia with his wife, Gwen, and their two cats, Grimalkin and Tanith.
