Carl G. Schott, aka C.G. Schott, has enjoyed a career in business, edu-tainment, and writing. Over the years he has been a military officer and "spy," a buyer and merchandise manager in the fashion business, and a successful pharmaceutical sales representative and sales manager. Currently, Carl lectures at the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) at the University of South Florida on European History as well as the craft of writing poetry as memoir. He also lectures on Cruise Ships in Europe and the Caribbean. Carl has published historical writing as well as poetry and business. His most recent work, THE TAMPA TO KEY WEST MURDER EXPRESS, is a mystery featuring numerous zany characters living in the Tampa and Key West areas. Carl's prior works include a trilogy of historical mystery novels. The first, A MURDER IN MORLAIX, is a gripping work of historical fiction, based upon the activity of both "real" and "fictitious" characters. It grew out of his research in unpublished documents and correspondance for the study in diplomatic history called MISSION TO SAINT PETERSBURG. Subsequent books in this series include THE GHOSTS OF LABADEE and NAKED AS THE TRUTH. All three books in this trilogy are exciting "reads" for fans of Nineteenth Century European History and Culture. Carl has earned a Ph.D. degree from the University of Notre Dame. His Poetry has been the subject of two books--NOT LIKE CHOCOLATE and NOT HERE, NOT NOW. His earlier business writing included a motivational career guidance workbook entitled, IS A PHARMACEUTICAL SALES CAREER RIGHT FOR ME? Carl truly lives the belief that "Every Day is a New Adventure." He is constantly inspired by his wife Ilona and his family of two sons and five grandchildren and one great-granddaughter, but who is counting?
