Michaela Haas, PhD, is an award-winning reporter, resilience researcher, and public speaker (www.michaelahaas.com). Her work has been published in the New York Times, Mother Jones, the Daily Beast, CBS, and other reputable media. She has taught at the University of California Santa Barbara, the University of the West, and internationally.
