Joaquin Fernandez

I'm a producer of documentaries, television commercials and educational and marketing media. I have been fortunate to film all over the U.S., as well as in France, Italy, Russia, Israel, Portugal, Japan, Philippines, and the Caribbean.

In 2009, I partnered with Scottish filmmaker Colin Gunn on the award-winning documentary film "IndoctriNation: Public Schools and the Decline of Christianity in America," which we released in October, 2011. I wrote, directed and produced the film with Colin, and was also its director of photography and editor.

For the book "IndoctriNation," I was very blessed to work with my dear friend Charles LaVerdiere, who worked as the book's editor, and oversaw the book cover design by Nawelle Noor.

I am originally from Miami, Florida, but grew up in the Dominican Republic. In the 90's I worked for several multinational ad agencies in Miami, and at the turn of the millenium I began providing multimedia solutions for higher education and real estate developers, among others. I am president of THE LIGHTHOUSE, a video production and graphic design firm in Wake Forest, North Carolina, where I live and worship with my wife and our four children.

I would love to hear from you.
