Annemarie O'Brien

Annemarie O'Brien has an MFA in Writing for Children & Young Adults from the Vermont College of Fine Arts. She teaches creative writing courses at UC Berkeley, Stanford, and Pixar and is the founder of the blog, Best Dog Books. LARA'S GIFT has earned starred reviews from Kirkus and School Library Journal and is inspired by a former life when she worked in Russia and was gifted Dasha, her first borzoi puppy.
