Harry Wallop is a features writer for the Daily Telegraph , having previously been its award-winning Consumer Affairs Editor and Retail Editor.
"Consumed - How Shopping Fed the Class System", is his first book.
Harry recently presented Channel 4's 'Dispatches: Secrets of Poundland' which achieved the second biggest audience for the programme. He has also presented two other Dispatches, which looked at the future of cash and at the car insurance industry. Harry is also the a co-presenter of Channel 4's Superscrimpers.
Before joining The Daily Telegraph, he worked for the Investors Chronicle, the leading weekly magazine that covers the London stock markets, writing about food, retail and consumer companies.
He went to University College, Oxford, where he read modern history.
He is married with four young children.
