Frederick Everest

The British poet and author Frederick Everest was born in Buckinghamshire in 1970.

Interested in creative writing from an early age, he submitted his first radio script to the BBC at the age of 20 and shortly afterwards adapted the play for the theatre. The play won second prize in a regional competition, and this encouraged him to continue writing.

In December 2010 he won the Avery Short Story Competition for his flash fiction piece "The List", and went on to be published by Everyday Fiction and the literary magazine Eclat. His adult-themed work has been published by Lush and Literotica. In 2014 his first screenplay, "Breaking Point", was shortlisted for the APM Short Screenplay Award.
