Stephen Denham

As an Oracle deck creator, writer and artist I have authored and illustrated Egyptian Alchemy Oracle (2025) and Enneagram Wisdom (2026) and supported my wife Emma Wertheim in her creation of Yoga Mudra Oracle (2025) – all published by Arcturus Publishing, London, UK.

From childhood, I've always responded to the call of spirit and creativity. My social commentary ‘A Plate of Eggs’ was published in 2011 (Zeus) and my paintings are featured at Bluethumb online gallery. Since 2010, I've written written numerous articles for Australian publications in lifestyle and spirituality. For many years I have been part of a spiritual community dedicated to meditation and cultivating ‘stillness in action’.

I won the 2025 Lambing Flat Federation of Australian Writers Poetry Prize and I have been regularly shortlisted for major Australian poetry awards: the Blake Prize for Poetry (2017) and the ACU (Australian Catholic University) Prize for Poetry (2019, 2021, 2023, 2024, 2025).

I am a graduate of the University of Sydney with degrees in philosophy and psychology. I also hold Diplomas in Graphic Design and Creative Copywriting.
