Giosue Ghisalberti was born in a village in the Alps of Italy and grew up in Toronto, Canada. The Psychoanalysis of Marilyn Monroe is his first published novel. One of his short stories ("The Mourner") was made into a film by the National Film Board of Canada.
He has a Ph.D. in Social and Political Thought from York University and has published academic essays, translations, and reviews. He currently teaches courses in philosophy, literature, and psychoanalysis in the department of Liberal Studies at Humber College, Toronto.
