Tim Yao

Tim Yao is a fantasy and speculative fiction author who writes stories that are dramatic, dark, and frequently funny.

A founding member and co-leader of the Writing Journey, a vibrant writing community based in the western suburbs of Chicago, Tim has contributed short stories and poetry to numerous community anthologies. His work spans everything from high-stakes speculative fiction and epic fantasy to romance and flash fiction. He is the author of the short fiction and poetry collection Kalerion.

When he isn't exploring strange new worlds on the page, Tim enjoys quiet walks with his wife, tennis with his friends, and playing around with his ukuleles and Native American flutes.
