Jeff Grover (1957-) was born in Mobile, Alabama, graduated from Citronelle High School and then enlisted into the U.S. Army in the Infantry for a two year period and was stationed in Wildflecken, Germany. Then, he attended Mobile College and majored in Math in Mobile, Alabama and then reentered into the U.S. Army and an Infantryman. Upon his second enlistment he went to Officer Candidate School and was commissioned in the Infantry. Following his basic branch service he volunteered for the U.S. Army Special Forces and became a Green Beret. H served in the 10th and 5th Special Forces Group (Airborne). Following his retirement in 2001, he obtained his doctorate in finance and taught for several Christian universities. Following this, he became a research scientist where he learned the techniques of Bayes' theorem. Following his tenure here, he went on a sabbatical and wrote his book, "Strategic Economic Decision-Making: Using Bayesian Belief Networks to Solve Complex Problems. He enjoys untra running, doing Bayesian proofs, and Church. He has two Children, Jeffrey and Rebecca and lives in Elizabethtown, Kentucky.
