Linda Anne Barkas

Linda Anne Barkas was born in Scotland but later moved to England with her family where she worked in business before travelling abroad teaching English as a Second Language. She now works in higher education. She has written short stories and novels all her life, completing her professional qualifications and PhD part-time while teaching and researching education. Linda Anne has always loved all animals, her horses are kept as pets and together they have enjoyed competing at an amateur level in show jumping, dressage and one-day eventing. She now lives in the North of England with her husband Chris and a growing collection of creatures including 3 horses, 4 dogs, 4 cats, chickens and wild birds.
