Jessica Fox is a writer, director, and producer drawn to costume drama, science and stories that celebrate curiosity and brave leaps into the unknown.
Her career has taken her from film sets to NASA, from Los Angeles to Scotland, and from the world of science and exploration to the world of books. Along the way she has worked with astronauts, entrepreneurs, artists, and booksellers, gathering stories about reinvention, adventure and the unexpected paths that can change a life.
Her memoir Wigtown (originally published as Three Things You Need to Know About Rockets) was a Waterstones' Book of the Month and an Oprah summer pick. Today she creates books, films, and television projects featuring female heroines with heart, humor, and wanderlust—inviting readers and viewers to follow their own "what ifs."
Jessica divides her time between Scotland and the United States.
