Len Watson

Len Watson actually grew up a little north of fictitious area where most of The Fruit Stand takes place. And it really was a schizophrenic time.

Len remembers the sweating before finals – knowing that if you didn’t do well, you could be holding a gun instead of a pencil.

And he remembers an interesting twist that his draft board pulled which changed the entire course of his life.

After a stint with a local television station, Len jumped to an ad agency for almost a quarter of a century. He then migrated to a major sports organization before creating some great websites and broadcast facilities that keep him on his toes today.

And the fun stuff? Traveling…Italy at the top of the list. Most of the “rels” are there. After that – just about anywhere. And still photography. And writing music – yeah, if you’ve read The Fruit Stand, it’ll make sense to you.
