Brad Buettner

Brad Buettner's professional career includes engineering, engineering management, and managing both technical and production functions of a three-shift, union-shop operation. Redirecting his efforts to writing, he has published four books: Death Benefit, a Pierce and Wal mystery; Einstein and Human Consciousness, a nonfiction work which interprets how time and reality are perceived by the human mind; and Growing Up and Finding Her, a memoir coauthored with his wife, Mary. The memoir explores the challenges of youngsters living with poverty, disease, death, and loneliness. His latest book is Chasing After Smoke, an enigmatic mystery about two people reliving childhood memories. Brad and Mary reside on the outskirts of Oswego, IL, where they raised two sons who have given them six grandchildren.
