David Bart

David Bart's story, "The World's Oldest Living Detective", is in the Anthony Award Winning CRIME HITS HOME, a Mystery Writers of America anthology edited by the highly acclaimed author S.J. Rozan. David is a long-time contributor to ALFRED HITCHCOCK'S MYSTERY MAGAZINE, ELLERY QUEEN MYSTERY MAGAZINE, STRAND MAGAZINE, MYSTERY TRIBUNE and MYSTERY MAGAZINE, formerly Mystery Weekly Magazine. He's had stories published in many anthologies, including four Mystery Writers of America anthologies. An early Hitchcock story, "Under the Playground", was reprinted in a French anthology, HISTOIRES D'HOMICIDES A DOMICILE. David is a Flash Fiction Winner in the Rocky Mountain Chapter of Mystery Writer's of America contest. Also a two-time winner of the Mystery Writers of America Six-Word Mystery Contest and is currently a judge in the Private Eye Writers of America's 2024 Shamus Awards for Best First P.I. Novel. David lives in a mountain community in New Mexico.
