Shannon Cervone is the quintessential multitasker; she is business by day, award winning author by night, wife and mom of 3 all the time. Every day is about managing it all while enjoying the journey. It is important to raise her children but just as important to live life with them.

From an early age, Shannon Cervone had an ambition to be a writer. Even as a child, she would write books that encouraged children to express their feelings in an adult world just as she was taught to do by her mother. Shannon was raised by a single mom who instilled in her the belief that she could do anything she worked hard for and she has been doing so ever since. She dreams big and believes dreams were meant to be achieved. Shannon recently won the Mom's Choice Award for The Black Suitcase.

Her inspirations come from experience. Shannon wrote The Black Suitcase when her husband traveled to audit Major League Baseball teams at their home ballparks. Her son, too young to voice his feelings on the absence of his father, told another story through his expressive big, blue eyes. Years later, her husband, who now works for the New York Knicks, no longer travels for work but the stories keep coming. With the love of two energetic little boys and the confidence of her husband, together they inspire her to follow and achieve her dream.
