Brenna Moore, Professor in the Department of Theology at Fordham University, is the author of Kindred Spirits: Friendship and Resistance at the Edges of Modern Catholicism. She came to Fordham from Harvard Divinity School where she earned her doctorate in 2008, and teaches in the areas of Catholic intellectual history, religion in modern Europe, and mysticism in modernity. She also published Sacred Dread: Raļssa Maritain and the French Catholic Revival (1905-1944) and co-edited, with Mary Dunn, Religious Intimacies: Intersubjectivity in the Modern Christian West. She currently resides in Hastings-on-Hudson.
