I was born in 1952 and diagnosed with Polio 10 months later. That was the first of at least 5 times, in my life, that the doctors said that all medical signs showed that I could not live and they couldn’t do anything about it. In addition to those times, twice I have experienced death and revival.
The last time I was in the hospital for something major, which was not one of the times already mentioned, my motorcycle drive train locked up when I was doing more than 70 mph. I put the bike on its side but went down so fast that (I believe) it flipped. Whatever happened, I was whipped into the pavement head first and later counted 12 hits on my helmet. (There were none before that.) I had medical people coming to see me that admitted they were not on my case but just wanted to see someone who could survive that type of accident. I chipped a bone in my back through armor, broke 2 ribs, had my arm ripped out of the socket so violently that it snapped a tendon in my shoulder, suffered significant (medically diagnosed) brain damage, and had my spine so squashed that my lower back was completely misaligned to the point that I had no feeling and no function in my left leg, and had ‘road rash’ and other minor injuries. After 6 days in Critical Care where they started me out on 3 IV opiates, I was woke up and 3 of the top doctors in the state told me I would never walk without back surgery. I literally walked out of the hospital 7 days later and I have never had back surgery. Several doctors who admitted to not believing in the God of the Bible told me that I had “undeniable multiple miracles”.
After I was moved from Critical Care, a lady came to take me for a MRI. When she came into my room, she said “Hey! I know you. You’re that guy that was in Critical Care praising God.” That was while I was literally out of my mind with pain or opiates.
I’m not a religious person but have a very real personal relationship with the God of the Bible that works and that regularly gives Him permission to work in and through my personal life. That is why I’ve had the “undeniable multiple miracles”.
When I was 12, after I finished my college calculus, my brother told me “Religion is the opiate of the masses”. (I didn’t know that he was quoting a famous philosopher.) Having been raised in a very religious family, I told him “No it isn’t”. He said “Prove it.” I started quoting religious answers and he said “Hold it! You just proved that you’re as dumb as a bird. A parrot can sit in a religion class and repeat what the teacher says. That doesn’t prove that the religion is right. You have to find something outside of the religion to prove that it is right.”
Please stay with me and you will learn the type of logic used in my books and why I can get miracles while being ‘anti-religion’.
So I started looking. I started out with the realization that one of 3 things had to be true: there were no gods, or there was one God Who is more powerful than all other beings and dictated to rules of everything, or there were multiple beings with more power than human beings (try making a world). If there were multiple gods then none of them could be powerful enough to dictate to all others.
I looked at all of the major religions of the world and found that while many had nice philosophies, most had no evidence that they were more than the thoughts of men. I also concluded that there is a lot of truth in the claim “Religion is the opiate of the masses”. An opiate makes you feel good while rotting your brain. Most religions make people feel good but require people to believe their claims without looking too close at how they arrived at those claims from their basis.
For example, consider the lying religion called “Humanism” (or other things) that claims to be based upon science but is based upon faith, like all other religions. True science is based upon facts and the Scientific Method which requires things like “repeatability” of proofs for scientific laws. The fact that we have laws like the “Law of Gravity” which can be demonstrated everywhere in the world, shows this repeatability. The laws of math apply everywhere without variance and show that our reality is orderly enough to produce this consistency. So, let me know when you can get an explosion to repeatably produce results which are as orderly as the seats in a theater. Without those results, only a liar or ‘brain dead’ person would deny that ‘Big Bang’ is based upon faith, just like any other religion. The same can be demonstrated for ‘Evolution’.
Therefore, these are the religious tenants of a lying religion which claims that they are the results of the Scientific Method. In addition, since they are the basis of all ‘atheistic’ belief that I have ever heard, the so-called ‘atheist’ are liars or brain dead to say they have no faith. Their true faith in is a philosophy which is based upon a religion that has been proven to be a lie.
As for the religions which believe in many gods, I have seen no evidence that any of them can explain where our current reality comes from. I have a 3.9 gpa degree in Computer Science from the University of Michigan along with over 30 years of professional experience dealing with ‘spaghetti code’. That is what you get when multiple minds have a say in the design of logic. I’ve seen stuff which was more than 20 years old which showed the consistency which we see in the laws of this reality, such as the law of Gravity. However, in every case that logic was produced by one mind and no other mind ever changed it. Thus the claims of religions which believe in ‘many gods’ have no evidence that they are anything more than the philosophies of men and go against the evidence of science which proves that the consistency of our reality could only come from one mind.
Obviously, I am skipping over a lot of detailed arguments and evidence. Nevertheless, the conclusions hold when you really dig into what is below the religious claims which require people to ‘believe the religious experts’.
When I looked at religions which claim ‘one God’, I found that the religious rules preached to believers did not match the ‘holy books’ that supposedly came from the ‘one God’. So I rejected the ‘opiate’ of all religions, refused to ‘just believe the religious experts’, and read the ‘holy books’ for myself. Of them all, only the Bible had evidence that it came from ‘one God’. It has detail level prophecy where the God of the Bible says what He will do and challenges all other beings to prevent Him from doing exactly what He says. He then deliberately prevents people from figuring out exactly how He will do it, until after he is done, so that false ‘prophets’ will be exposed as liars. Thus, anyone who claims to tell the future in detail, based upon the Bible, proves themselves to be a liar. We can tell some things about the future, just not all of the details such as a date when something will happen.
We have ‘prophecies’ which are so general that they can be interpreted 1,000 or more ways. However, there is only one “Bethlehem of Judah” in the entire world. The prophecy that Christ would be born in “Bethlehem of Judah” was over 400 years old when fulfilled. Satan and his helpers had over 400 years to stop the God of the Bible, and they not only ran all of the descendents of King David out of town but ran them out of the country of Judah. Yet every Christmas we have believers of lies trying to prevent displays of manger scenes because they display the failure of Satan and all other so-called ‘gods’.
In addition to these ambiguous ‘prophecies’, there are ‘prophecies’ from people who are wrong more often than they are right. Thus, their claims to speak for a ‘god’ who can tell the future are proven to be lies.
After all of my research, I read the Bible for what it literally says, believed and obeyed that God says in it and was “born again” with a personal relationship to the God of the Bible. Even though I was active in a religion and school that claimed to believe the Bible, I didn’t know anyone who actually believed what It said. They all believed what the religious leaders told them it said. For example, one religion teacher said that when the Bible said that “Adam knew his wife”, that had nothing to do with sex.
I tried telling others what the Bible literally said and had so much trouble that I shut up and stopped reading the Bible for several years. People kept talking about how I would get into trouble for doing the same thing as anyone else got away with. (I didn’t know that that was evidence of God disciplining one of His true children.)
When I was 28, I got married and then my wife wanted to go to church. I agreed so long as it was a church that believed what the Bible literally said. God started blessing and we had things like the ability to tithe, pay all of our bills and still have money left over out of one pay check while banking the other pay check.
When the church leaders refused to obey the Bible and said “trust us”, I moved to another church. When the pastor there told us that my wife was demanding that we disobey the Bible, she said that she would divorce me if we didn’t change churches. Then the blessings stopped. Then we started having trouble like facing bankruptcy 12 times. Then my health went and the last 3.5 years of my marriage I bled internally literally every day and was so anemic that I could not work a desk job for 2 of those years. I ended up in the Emergency Room going into a coma with the doctor telling me I would never wake up. After I woke up he said that I died and they revived me. My wife said that I really didn’t die so she didn’t have to change how she was treating me. Push came to shove and we ended up divorced.
Since then her oldest son, from a prior marriage, died with a lot of ‘coincidental evidence’ indicating that God killed him for doing the same sin as she insisted on continuing to do. The pastor that we had at the time has been removed from the pastorate for doing the exact same sin as his ‘religious doctrine’ justified my wife doing. Another ‘good Godly fundamental KJV only’ preacher buried a son who was following him in preaching that people needed to believe ‘old time religion’, even when shown that his ‘old time religion’ went against what the Bible literally says. Romans 6:16 says “Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?”
During my divorce, my wife insisted upon taking all assets and giving me all of the bills. I was going to fight that but, after praying about it, I agreed. The divorce judge asked me if I was sure about the settlement and I agreed. Since then she has had continuous financial problems while God proved that He would provide for me. Two of her sons (from a prior marriage) got cancer and one was dying until I prayed for both daily for over a month. Both cancers went into permanent remission. While I could testify more, this should give the reader an idea of what God is doing in my life.
After my divorce God showed me Hebrews 11:6 which “But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.” I started seeking what the Bible literally says about the names of God in the New Testament. I have studied my Bible at least 20 hours/week since the start of 2000 and the results are on ljc1611kjv.com. At that site people can find at least 5,000 verses interpreted and cross-references to over 55,000 verses. The evidence there proves that there are NO ‘problem verses’ and that all such claims are due to people using the wrong way to interpret their Bible. We have a “perfect Word of God” which is a “perfect” picture of a “perfect God”. When we use His way to interpret His Word, we get a “perfect” interpretation which reveals a God Who never changes and never contradicts what he has revealed elsewhere in His Word.
God’s way of interpretation uses sentence-by-sentence (Isaiah 28), which is why my books have Sentence-by-sentence in the title. God’s way of interpretation also uses an definition for His words that have as exact a meaning as the definition of words used in a computer language. That is also why book titles use the COBOL word “Thru”.
May God bless your personal study and seeking of what He literally says for you to do.
