Chris Higgins

My first magazine cover story was published in 1992, when I was just 13 years old. It was about fancy guppies. The International Fancy Guppy Association (yes, that's a thing) sent me a plaque to thank me for my efforts. It was a good time, really.

In more recent years I've written for Mental Floss, This American Life, The Atlantic, The Magazine, and lots more. I live in Portland, Oregon.
