R. Shay

R. Shay was born in America's Rust Belt--just as the rust began to set in--to a family of workers. After taking a string of dead-end jobs, he did a brief stint in one of the area's few remaining mills before setting out on a long adventure that has taken him across the world and back. An autodidact, his writings have appeared in Insurgent Notes, The Libertarian Communist, and a host of other online and offline avenues.

R. Shay's published titles include "The Rise and Fall of Occupy Wall Street: An Outside Participant's Account," "The Party's Over: Communist Organization in the Modern World," "On the Collapse of American Capitalism," and "Their Socialism and Ours."
