James A. Shapiro

James A. Shapiro has participated in politics, law, very amateur adventuring, and other dangerous endeavors. He has traveled to more than thirty nations—in his professional and personal capacities—to gain insight into other cultures. He has skied off small cliffs in the Rockies (on purpose), gone swimming with crocodiles in the Outback (quite by accident), and is currently planning an expedition up Mount Kilimanjaro (if negotiations with his wife succeed). James, his wife and son live in Connecticut.
