Brock Hansen

Brock Hansen is a Clinical Social Worker, trained in hypnosis and NLP, practicing in Washington DC. His interest in emotional intelligence and the psychology of shame led to his writing "Shame and Anger: The Criticism Connection" to help others understand the powerful and confusing emotion of shame and how it influences so many areas of our life. Married for over 40 years, he enjoys travel all over the world with his wife, Penelope, and adventures like rafting in the Grand Canyon and Canoeing in the Boundary Waters with his sons and grandsons.

Brock enjoys speaking about issues of shame, anger, emotional intelligence, constructive criticism, bullying, and resilience. He is also available for coaching and counseling in his office in DC as well as by telephone or skype.

He is also a contributor to "101 Great Ways to Enhance Your Career" and the forthcoming "101 Great Ways to Compete in Today’s Job Market"
