Biography of the Author
Franco D’Addeo, with a pseudonym of Franco Sollyman, was born on the night of April 1, 1959 in a modest house in via Pietra Bianca, in Lauro di Sessa Aurunca (Ce) a village north of Campania.
His father Giovanni D’Addeo (1925 - 1959) at thirty-three dies in a traffic accident, thrown from a car while riding his home by bike. It was July 26, 1959.
His mother Coiro Palma (1924-1985) with six dependent children was forced to lock them all in boarding school. The author thus spends his childhood in two different institutes in Mondragone (Ce), "Colonia Izzo" with the nuns, and "San Giuseppe" with the monks, from 1964 to 1972. He was then locked up in the seminary of Sessa Aurunca (CE), with the priests, staying there only a month because he did not have the vocation of the priesthood, fleeing from the institute at night to never return.
In 1967, at the age of eight, he risked dying from a bleeding from his tonsils, miraculously saved after filling a basin with blood. Because of this, the author was forced to stay indoors for a month for the duration of his recovery, without attending school in boarding school, he will then be rejected, forced not to speak for over a month and above all ingesting only cold drinks and loose food.
In middle school he writes the first poems to peers and immediately feels an inspiring fire burning within himself that will no longer die out in the future.
For his skill in painting he opts to obtain high school at the Art Institute in Cascano (Ce).
The years to come are decisive for forging the author both as a man and as a writer.
On August 20, 1978 at the age of 19 he served as V.A.M. to the Air Force (at Viterbo and Frosinone airport).
Since he was a boy, his aspiration is to write novels, shaped by his overwhelming fantasy with the ambition to become a model writer.
As a self-taught, he studied parapsychology, occult sciences and psychoanalysis, themes that the author uses to weave his plots. His other passion is music, to be composed over the years of more than a hundred melodies. His cultural and poetic background has never died out over the years, but has been enriched and strengthened considerably, to be able to forge an innate creative inspiration in him.
