Paul O'Connor

I am qualitative sociologist interested in religion, urban cultures and ethnicity. Originally from the UK, I have lived and taught in Hong Kong, the UK, and Prague. I have taught at the Chinese University of Hong Kong, Charles University, the University of Exeter and Lingnan University Hong Kong.

A key focus of my research has been skateboarding and I have explored the experiences of older and adult skateboarders at length.
