Charles Johns

Charles E. Johns is a United Methodist Minister and member of the Susquehanna Annual Conference in Pennsylvania. He holds a degree in Music from Wilkes University, a Master of Divinity Degree from Drew University, and both Masters and Doctors Degrees from Syracuse University.He has been the Director of the Office of Special Programs at the University Of Illinois College Of Medicine in Chicago and the Director of Admissions at the Boston University School of Theology.He has served as the pastor of the Throop United Methodist Church (PA), the Moscow United Methodist Church (PA) and for 14 years The Church of Christ Uniting, a merged congregation of United Methodists and Presbyterians in Kingston, PA.He was the Director of the Conference Council of Ministries for the former Wyoming Annual Conference (PA and NY) and the District Superintendent of the Scranton District in that annual conference in Pennsylvania.For 12 years he wrote a monthly column entitled "Faith Matters" in The Voice, the print and on-line media of the Wyoming Annual Conference.He is the father of two sons and grandfather of two grandsons. He and his wife live in northeast Pennsylvania.
