D.C. Shaftoe is a Speech-Language Pathologist who works with children with autism spectrum disorders and their families. On those days, she spends her time running, playing with trains, and sitting in kiddie chairs. In 2010, as her children reached a new level of independence, she began to write. Shaftoe’s first book was well received, and she has been writing ever since.
Shaftoe writes what has been described as a unique blend of thriller, suspense, and romance. She does not shy away from trauma and real-life scenarios though she values a happy ending.
Shaftoe’s books appeal to those seeking a clear Christian message as well as those seeking hope in a dark world.
