M.J. Miike

M.J.'s relationship myths started at the age of five with D'Aulaire's wonderful books of Greek and Norse mythology. This fascination led to a degree in Classics from Boston University with a focus on Ancient Greek language and literature. After many years as a technical writer and as a marketing copywriter in the high-tech industry and for Mammoth NYC respectively, MJ decided it was time to take up narrative fiction. In 2012 M.J. published "Travels with Sarai" (aka "Bigfoot vs. Chupacabra".) MJ's influences include Daniel Pinkwater, Jorge Luis Borges, Mark Twain, David Sedaris, William Butler Yeats (particularly his wonderful plays) and Snorri Sturluson. MJ is currently working on the second novel in the Yeti Chronicles series.
