Charles Daniel Bel-Tempo

Dan was born in Passaic, New Jersey. He entered military service at the age of 19. He was involved in basic training at Ft. Dix, New Jersey and then became a member of the Signal Training Center at Ft. Gordon, Ga.

He became a leader of his own squad at his permanent post. He then became a leader of the daily dozen exercises on a platform for the better part of a year. Upon his separation from active duty he held the rank of Specialist 2nd Cl. which was the parallel of a staff sergeant; there were no three stripers.

Because of this background he became an author of two novels.
