Benjamin R. Perkins

Benjamin R. Perkins, born August 10th, 1976, in the small historical city of Saint Augustine, Fl. His father is a retired city employee and truck driver. His mother is employed for the past thirty years at the Florida School for the Death and Blind.

Benjamin began writing at an early age. His passion for playing football in his middle school years had partially interfered with his writing during those times. The constant pressure to become an adult at an early age by his parents, forced him to move out of his parents home the day of his high school graduation. This resulted in mischievous behavior from the young mind of Benjamin Perkins, which later led to criminal convictions of theft and selling drugs. Today, he speaks to young adults who have behavioral issues and encourages them to stay in school, and continue to do positive things they enjoy. Benjamin has been working since a teen in the customer service industry. He is a people person and a loving father of three daughters and a son. He continues to write literature while studying performing arts at the Florida School of the Arts. Expect to see more from this author and performer.
