Diane writes mysteries often with romantic elements that, on occasion, are spiced with the ridiculous whenever she listens to the imp that sits on her shoulder and whispers in her ear.
She has lived her entire life in Minnesota and is currently residing with her husband in a town east of St. Paul where townhome complexes have replaced the corn and soybean fields.
Her outside (of work) activities have included rock climbing, tennis, rollerblading, riding her motorcycle, and her all-time favorite: downhill skiing. Participating as a professional ski instructor and as a National Ski Patroller, she has many adrenalin-charged memories of riding on the edge of...disaster. Her current sport is playing Pickleball where she hopes the physical activity will keep her mind sharp and the ideas for stories flowing.
She considers her eclectic work-life in dentistry, medical support, and computer programming the perfect research labs for observing quirky people.
Diane is a current member of Sisters in Crime and the Twin Cities chapter. She is a former member of The Romance Writers of America, and the Northern Lights chapter.
