Roger Dial

Roger L. Dial (1960 - ) was born in Columbus, Ohio to parents of Irish and Scottish descent who grew up in Southern West Virginia. Although not from West Virginia, he got there as quick as he could and grew up in the southern part of the state from 1964 to present. For thirty-four years he worked at vocations including the oilfield and flight simulation software design, including ten award winning commercial software titles within a four year period as add-ons for Microsoft Flight Simulator, including the Spirit of St. Louis which was used by the Experimental Aircraft Association in Oshkosh, Wisconsin to commemorate the 75th anniversary and reenact Charles Lindbergh’s historic transatlantic flight. Battered Nation Syndrome is his first book.
