Residing in Milwaukee, WI, Leah is married with two adult children and three grandchildren. She has experience as a teacher, speaker, and self-published author.
Leah achieved her lifelong dream of becoming a teacher. Her experience includes teaching grades K-8 and she developed and taught Christ-centered Living adult classes. Her love for teaching has been further realized through writing. Leah has a passion for writing Christ-centered literature which encourages and guides believers in their life of faith so they may experience the peace of God, joy, and gratitude even in the most distressing times.
Leah writes, "Years ago my lack of spiritual maturity was a concern for me. My worries and fears caused me to wonder what kind of faith I had. Although I was saved through faith, I did not know how to live by faith. I was greatly lacking in a consistent daily dependent trust in the Lord Jesus. I did not understand: "As the Lord commands, As you therefore have received Christ Jesus the Lord [by faith], so walk in Him, rooted and built up in Him and established in the faith . . ." (Col. 2:6-7). Through the consistent intake of the Word of God-faithful hearing of sound teaching, the Lord developed my faith to be more consistent. Consequently, He placed upon my heart the desire to encourage other believers how to live by faith. The result was the writing of "LifeQuakes: God's Rescue Plan in Hard Times"--a how-to-resource book for living by faith and experiencing God's perfect peace."
Although the content of Leah's writing is insightful and substantial, her writing style is conversational and easy to read. Readers of her work have described it as a practical and comprehensive writing approach to God's truths for everyday living, which distinguishes her from other Christian writers.
