Larry 'Jungle'' Shortell

Hi, I'm Larry Shortell, also known as Jungle. I have been a special education schoolteacher since 1998. I am also a SCUBA diving instructor, so when I started traveling with my first "summer off", most of my vacations were dive related. Now after my 21st summer, I realize my traveling has grown into so much more. I have traveled to all 50 US states, over 100 countries, and each of the 7 continents-at least twice. I enjoy experiencing the flora, fauna, people and places from each destination so much that it led to the foundation of my photography business (Natural Wonders-photographs from around the world). As my traveling became more meaningful, so did my reflections and documentation of my experiences. My books, Summers Off and Summers On, reflect not only my adventures, but also my growth as an educator and a person.
