Jim Stevens

Jim Stevens is an author of humorous mysteries, whodunits, detective fiction, crime fiction, and suspense. His stories combine intriguing cases, unexpected twists, colorful characters, and humor, often exploring money, business, relationships, deception, and murder.

Jim has been writing for more than thirty years. Born in the East, raised in the West, schooled in the Northwest, and a resident of the Midwest for twenty-three winters, he began writing television series and feature-film scripts in the 1970s. He later spent twenty-five years in broadcasting and advertising while continuing to write. His creative work has included plays, short films, videos, television commercials, and pilots.

Jim is the author of the Richard Sherlock Whodunit Series, including The Case of The Not-So-Fair Trader, The Case of Moomah’s Moolah, The Case of Tiffany’s Epiphany, The Case of Mr. Wonderful, The Case of the Woebegone Widow, The Case of the Missing Milk Money, The Case of the Dearly Departed, The Case of the Comatose CEO, The Case of the Murdered Mariner, and The Case of the Safe Switcheroo.
