Dear Amazon Reader:

My name is Peter Whyte, and I'll try to be brief. I was born in a cold village, closer to the North Pole than you or anyone else you know. For the first half of my life I was a very grown-up child, and for the last half I've been a very childish grown-up.

I write holiday stories that can be found at whytetales.com. Why holiday stories specifically? I enjoy them the same way a baker enjoys baking bread, or a neurosurgeon enjoys excavating brain matter.

A warning: if you're not a believer in holiday magic, Amazon has millions (maybe billions or jillions, I wouldn't know) of other books you should probably move on to. But if you're a grown-up child or a childish grown-up yourself -- if you enjoy adventure and mischief and hot cocoa on a cold night -- I have a few stories I think you might like to hear.
