Rusty Trimble

Rusty "R. D." Trimble is a multiple-award-winning author of young adult fiction, paranormal romance, and crime fiction. Ever since being read bedtime stories as a toddler, Rusty Trimble has wanted to be a writer. His first computer introduced him to computer games, namely the Text Adventure games of Adventure International by Scott Adams. Rusty would later reach out to Scott and form a friendship that led to the first R. D. Trimble novel, based on Scott's blockbuster game, "Pirate Cove", featuring his son Andrew and called "Andrew and the Pirate Cove."

Rusty has continued in this series with two sequels and additionally branched into the YA field with his book "Middle School Madness", which won two awards and featured over 300 illustrations he drew and hundreds of fun facts, one at the bottom of each page.

Since then, Rusty has focused on adult fiction, writing the crime fiction novel Tammany Hall and paranormal romance with "Preying Moon" and the best-selling prequel to USA Today Best-selling author P. Mattern's Vampire Princess Trilogy, "Viktor: Vampire Usurper."

His latest venture is his novel "The Hitmom", a crime fiction novel with a smidgen of dark humor, Simulatenously, he is also hard at work on his first comic book, writing and illustrating it with a planned 2023 release date.

Rusty resides in San Diego, California with his wife, two sons, where is a competitive air hockey player and loves nothing more than playing games with his family, writing, drawing, and promoting other authors on his two Facebook Live shows, "Coffee and a Chapter" and "The Writer's Playground" several times a week.
