Doris Hayes Gibson

Doris Hayes Gibson was born in the beautiful upstate of South Carolina. She was the fourth of five children and the daughter of a pastor. After living out of the state for many years, Doris returned to her hometown where she seriously focused on writing.

Since always possessing a passion for writing poetry, she finally began to deal with her past and the struggles life handed her. She found herself appreciating even more the gift of expression through words of hope and God's love. With much prayer and meditation, her writings proved to be therapy with which to mend old wounds, and it allowed her heart to heal.

Not only has she discovered peace of mind through poetry, she also finds excitement in sharing her gift with others she knows are hurting. Writing bathes her soul in peace, and she has become whole again through heavenly-inspired whispers of poetry.
