Carolyn's novels have elements of romance, mystery and the supernatural, with the aim of touching the reader’s soul.
The first book in the Pandora trilogy, 'Transforming Pandora', was showcased by The People's Book Prize in 2014, prompting two sequels: 'Squaring Circles' and 'Pandora's Gift'. The books follow the ups and downs of Pandora's life and loves, and the success, or otherwise, of the choices she makes along the way, as her meetings with the mystical increase in frequency.
Carolyn's fourth book, 'Temple of Dreams', is a stand-alone tale of the exploits of two young men, one living in contemporary England, the other in fifth century BCE Greece, both of whom are on a quest for spiritual and romantic fulfilment.
Her latest book, 'The Zookeeper's Dragon', is a contemporary tale for grown-ups about an egg that hatches out as a mythical creature, inducing the zookeeper to go on an interdimensional quest to find the hatchling's natural environment. This requires a psychic to guide the zookeeper through the process, a parrot to act as his mama, and strict security at home . . .
An occasional poet, her odes can be seen on her Facebook author page.
