Andy Wood

Whether as an author, professor, church leader, consultant, evangelist, or seminar leader, Andy Wood has pursued a philosophy he refers to as M.A.D.I.S.E.L.- Make a Difference in Someone Else's Life! A passionate teacher and communicator, an annoying photographer and a pathetic University of Alabama football fan, Andy is the Instructional Director of the Master’s in Leadership Program at Lubbock Christian University in Lubbock, Texas.

A native of Mobile, Alabama, Andy holds a Ph.D. in Organizational Leadership from Regent University, a Master of Divinity from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, and a B.A. in Religion and History from the University of Mobile. He has 32 years of church ministry experience and ten years’ experience as a university professor at both an undergraduate and graduate level.

Along with his wife Robin, Andy is also the Managing Partner of The LifeVesting Group, offering professional counseling, coaching, consulting, and communication services. Andy has ghostwritten two published books, and has published on both academic and professional levels in magazines and journals. He is also the owner of Lifevesting.com – a blog site focusing on helping readers invest their lives in a compelling future and a glorious eternity – where he has posted nearly 800 articles. He has also presented frequently at various workshops and seminars, including “How to Develop Your Child’s Leadership Ability,” “Uniquely You,” and “Gauges, Gifts and Gaps: How to Deal with Stress and Avoid Burnout.”

Andy and Robin have been married for 29 years and have three married children and six grandchildren.
