He worked for 46 years before he finally retired in 2009. In his careers, he worked as an assistant grocery store manager, food manufactures' sales representative, and 15 years teaching high school marketing.

With his knowledge of retirement he believes his new book will help everyone planning to retire; whether it's 5 years or 40 years from now. He has actually lived the ups and downs of retirement and strongly emphasizes the key factors in a successful retirement.

He lives in Southern California with his wife of 46 years and they have 3 daughters, 9 grandkids, and 3 great grandsons.
