Olga Kovbasyuk

Olga Kovbasyuk was born and grew up in a smal siberian village, in central Russia. She had lived in the Far East of Russia for thirty years and taught high school and university courses in various educational institutions. She now lives in Kaliningrad, Russia, and works for the Federal Baltic University Business School. She has managed a great number of international academic programs and intercultural projects. She is a founder of Linguistic School and Global Learning Center in Russia, served as the First President of the International Higher Education Teaching and Learning Association (www.hetl.org), is co-founder and co-director of the Institute for Meaning -Centered Education (http://www.meaningcentered.org). She has broad international experience as a visiting professor and a certified intercultural trainer.

She has over 100 publications in professional journals and a number of national and international awards, including national medal " For Excellency in Work", Teacher's Excellence Award and Fulbright Scholarship from the US Department of State, and DAAD Fellowship from German Academic Council.
