Paintings and artifacts in museums drew her into the maze of ‘what if’, determined to reconcile the world of down-to-earth science with imaginative out-there-fiction. She favours surreal stories that explore the inner worlds of creative savants, parallel dimensions, time travel, and ghostly lovers that set the history books on fire.
