Well, I'm writing this, and you're reading it, and for that we can thank the internet. Was the world a better, or worse place, without it? I don't know, but it was certainly easier to be private, forgotten, or disenfranchised back then (depending on your point of view). I have explored the sinister side of the internet in my novel "I'll Be Watching You." Set partially in the States, but mainly in the UK, a stalker's obsession ends in tragedy, after the web rekindles an old infatuation. How private can we really hope to be nowadays? Do we really think a password is going to protect us? The best place for secrets is inside your head.

This is my first novel, written after many years of studying literature from all eras and countries. I was born in Yorkshire, England, the son of a coal miner, and have done a variety of jobs: steelworks labourer, grape-picker, hotel kitchen porter, pneumatic drill operator, and postman, to name a few.
